Palestinian civilians and medics run to safety during an Israeli strike over a UN school in Beit Lahia, northern Gaza Strip. The skies over Gaza remained calm on Sunday morning for the first time in 22 days as Israel unilaterally halted the onslaught which has killed more than 1,200 Palestinians and levelled vast swathes of the Hamas-run enclave.
